Overwhelmed by your love and support: Abhishek Bachchan on response to Breathe: Into The Shadows 

Abhishek Bachchan has penned a note on the release of his debut web-series Breathe: Into The Shadows. Streaming since July 9, the 12-episode series is directed by Mayank Sharma and is out on Amazon Prime. It follows a psychiatrist, played by Abhishek Bachchan, who becomes a serial killer to save his daughter. The new season also stars Amit Sadh, Nithya Menen and Saiyami Kher.

“I am so overwhelmed by all your love and support for Breathe: Into the shadows,” Abhishek wrote. “As an actor, our greatest joy is to receive a positive response to our hard work. Reading all your beautiful comments all day has been so wonderful and emotional.”

He thanked his director Mayank Sharma, writers Bhavani Iyer, Vikram Tuli and Arshad Syed and his producers at Abundantia Entertainment.

“Never losing hope and strengthening our resolve whenever we wavered. To an incredible crew, who worked tirelessly and made the show look so awesome. And most importantly did it with a huge smile.To the team at Amazon Prime Video for their belief, immense hard work and literally putting their “money where their mouth is!”

He also thanked his co-stars for their patience and encouragement.  “A special mention to Varin Roopani, Dwij Vala and Ravish Dumra that essayed younger Avinash. All brilliant and I’m so thankful,” Abhishek continued. “It has been an amazing journey and I hope you, the audience, enjoy watching the series.
