Director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) has been trending again for sharing a series of posters and videos from his upcoming web film, Power Star — Yennikala phalithaala tharvaatha katha. While RGV added a disclaimer that all characters and events shown in this film are fictitious, it is widely reported that Power Star is based on actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan's political life post-elections. The director has been teasing mega fans with the film's images, promo videos and his quirky captions.

One of the pictures showcases two actors seated on a couch as one of them looks worried. RGV captioned the picture: "Two brothers in a moment from my film Power Star."

In another poster, the director wrote, "A Russian woman wrapped in an Indian saree with the Argentinian legend Che Guevera hung on the wall while reading the French origin book of Papillon...The lead character in the film is truly a Global Powerstar."
