The song, which was released on June 24, tells the story of a girl in awe of a boy that she secretly admires. The track is composed and produced by Bharat with vocals by Nikhita. The lyrics are by Anurag-Deepak.

Talking about the concept of the song, Bharat shares, “Kamli is the story of secret admiration based in modern times. I have always had a very keen interest in dance music composition and production and this song gave me the opportunity to fulfil that. Nikhita was the perfect choice for the vocals and I’m glad the song clicked with the audience.”
