Bad Boys For Life, the third instalment of the successful franchise, has come out after a gap of about 17 years. It has set the box office on fire and not surprisingly, Sony Picture has decided to back a fourth film.
It is said that Chris Bremner, the writer of Bad Boys Forever, will return for the fourth film in the series. The director and other cast details are yet to be unveiled.
Bad Boys franchise is 25 years old. The first film in the series came out in 1995. Its sequel was released seven years later in 2003. But the third instalment took about 17 years to hit the screens. The production of Bad Boys For Life went on floors only in 2018 and was wrapped up last year. The film is yet to be released in many other parts of the world.
Starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, Bad Boys For Life is about the two detectives solving a series of murders. The film is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who have replaced Michael Bay, the director of the first two films in the franchise.
