Jaanu teaser out: Samantha and Sharwanand recreate 96 in Telugu

Samantha and Sharwanand have slipped into the shoes of Jaanu and Ram in the Telugu remake of 96, which is titled Jaanu. The teaser of the film is out now, and it looks like the makers are faithfully remaking the original film. 

C Premkumar, who made 96, is also directing this remake. Music composer Govinda Vasantha, who churned out a superhit album for the orignial movie, has been retained for the remake. 

Jaanu is a romantic drama about the meeting of two childhood sweethearts Jaanu and Ram after several years. They brood, talk, and laugh about their past and wonder why it didn’t work between them.
