Toofan first-look: Farhan Akhtar readies for the ring

A sharply-built Farhan Akhtar seethes in the corner of a boxing ring in the first-look reveal from Toofan. The film, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, tells the story of an underdog boxer prepping for a big match. Farhan was trained by boxer Drew Neal and action choreographer Darrell Foster (Ali, Bleed For This) for the film. 

Farhan and Rakeysh had previously collaborated on Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013).

The script of Toofan is penned by Anjum Rajabali. The film stars Paresh Rawal as Farhan’s coach as Darshan Kumaar as his rival boxer. Mrunal Thakur, recently seen in Ghost Stories, plays the female lead. The cast also includes Isha Talwar, Rishi Kapoor, Jatin Sarna, Manoj Pahwa, and others.
