Second look of Suriya-Sudha Kongara’s Soorarai Pottru unveiled

The second look of Soorarai Pottru, Suriya’s upcoming film with Sudha Kongara has been unveiled today.

In the intriguing poster, the actor’s face has been superimposed on the image of a bird. Even more interestingly, this image has been placed on a letter with words that seem to be from a song in the film. The words compare a man with a bird that refused to accept boundaries and chose to fly high, unbowing to anything.

This appears to be in line with speculations that the film is loosely based on the life of GR Gopinath, the founder of India's first budget airline, Air Deccan. 

Also featuring Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal, and veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu, Soorarai Pottru will have music by GV Prakash Kumar in his first collaboration with Suriya.

The teaser will be released on January 7 and the film is slated to hit the screens this summer.
