On the occasion of Sivakarthikeyan's 35th birthday, the makers of his upcoming film, Doctor, released the first look of the actor from the Nelson Dilipkumar directorial.

The first look features a bespectacled Sivakarthikeyan in a crisp formal attire sitting on a chair with bloody gloves and a scalpel in his hands. While the look does go with the title of the film, it also lends to the intrigue whether there is more than what meets the eye.

Doctor also stars Gangleader-fame Priyanka Arul Mohan, Vinay, Yogi Babu, Ilavarasu, and Archana. Anirudh Ravichander is composing music for the film. This will be Anirudh's sixth film that stars Sivakarthikeyan as the lead.

Speaking about the film, director Nelson said, “It has elements of action, thriller, and comedy. The film can’t be put into one genre. It has an ensemble cast consisting of many performers. We will be shooting in Chennai and Goa.”

Apart from Doctor, Sivakarthikeyan also has Ayalaan, and a film with Vignesh Shivan, in different stages of production.
