Kangana Ranaut puts on 10 kilos for Thalaivi

Kangana’s sister Rangoli, who is known for her controversial tweets, tweeted that the actor has risked her health for the film

Kangana Ranaut has reportedly gained 8 to 10 kilograms for playing J Jayalalithaa, the former CM of Tamil Nadu, in the upcoming film Thalaivi, directed by Vijay. 

Kangana’s sister Rangoli, who is known for her controversial tweets, tweeted that the actor has risked her health for the film

She wrote, “In Tanu weds Manu Kangana had a bike accident and got 52 stitches in her foot, in Manikarnika she accidentally hit her head with a heavy metal sword and got 15 stitches on her forehead, now she has gained a lot of weight put her health at stake.”

The film is also getting released in Hindi with the same title. Other than Kangana, Thalaivi also stars Arvind Swami as AIADMK founder MG Ramachandran.
