Shruti Haasan to play female lead in PSPK 28?

Shruti Haasan, who is set to make a comeback with Ravi Teja-starrer cop-drama Krack, is the frontrunner to play the female lead in Pawan Kalyan's new film, directed by Harish Shankar. Notably, the trio earlier delivered the memorable hit, Gabbar Singh.

"Harish is keen to cast Shruti opposite Pawan, with whom she has shared screen space in films like Gabbar Singh and Katamarayudu. The discussion is still in the nascent stages. If things work out, then definitely the trio will team up for yet another big-budget extravaganza," says a source. 

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film tentatively called PSPK 28, was announced last week. The rest of the details about this project are yet to be announced.

As soon as Pawan completes shooting for the Telugu remake of Pink, he might either start working on Krish or Harish's film.
