Producer Saviraj Shetty has released the teaser poster of the maiden film of his Whatever Productions banner, Taxi No. 24. The film was shot and edited entirely post the lockdown — a first for Bollywood, according to the makers.

Taxi No.24 stars Mahesh Manjrekar and Jagjeet Sandhu (Leila, Paatal Lok). Directed by Saumitra Singh, the film narrates the story of a young man, Sameer (Jagjeet Sandhu), who has had a very tough day and gets into a taxi driven by Lal Bahadur (Mahesh Manjrekar). Sameer gets paranoid when he spots a newspaper headline that says, "A psycho killer is loose in Mumbai."

"This film has been a whirlwind of passion and energy, as we completed the whole film, pre to post, immediately after the lockdown," says Saumitra.

Producer Saviraj Shetty adds, “I am honoured to announce that Taxi No. 24, our first film, is also the very first project in the industry to complete its entire making from pre-production to post-production after the lifting of the lockdown. I would like to dedicate this victory to the relentless diligence and dedication of our entire production team.”

Taxi No.24 also stars Girish Sharma, Rajat Arora, Shalini Chauhan, Mugdha Sharma, Amisha Sinha, Ankita Sahu, and Tushar Rungta in supporting roles. The film, which is written by Abhiraj Sharma, has Hasan Khan as the executive producer.
