First look of Rana Daggubati from Viraata Parvam launched 

On the occasion of Rana Daggubati's birthday, the first look poster and teaser of his character Comrade Ravanna from the period action thriller Viraata Parvam was launched by the makers, SLV Cinemas. 

The featurette shows Rana as the leader of a Naxal gang wielding machine guns with a fierce look. The film was last in the news for Nivetha Pethuraj's addition to the cast.  

The Venu Udugula directorial, starring Sai Pallavi as the female lead, is currently in its last leg of shoot and the final schedule is taking place in and around Hyderabad.

Virata Parvam is set in the 1990s and it is said to trace the story of the clash between a Naxal group and the government.

The film also stars Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao, and Rahul Ramakrishna. D Suresh Babu is presenting the film bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherkuri of SLV Cinemas. Virata Parvam will have music by Suresh Bobbili.

Meanwhile, Rana is awaiting the release of his trilingual Haathi Mere Saathi (Kaadan in Tamil, Aranya in Telugu), which has been announced as a Sakranti 2021 release. He also has Hiranya Kashyapa in the pipeline.
