Shubha Raksha tests waters in different languages

Actor Shubha Raksha, who made her mark in Kannada cinema with films like Apple Cake, Gudugu, Mookavismitha and Mathe Udhbava, is all set to try her luck in different languages now. The actor is quite thrilled to be foraying into Tollywood. 

Shubha, who recently completed shooting for her first Telugu web series, is currently shooting for a feature film. The yet-to-be-titled project, directed by Ramana Raj, will be a suspense thriller, in which she gets to share the screen with Shiva and Satya actor JD Chakravarthy.

The web series project, which began in 2019, had to be put on hold due to COVID-19. The shooting resumed in November, and has now been completed. The series also features Kannada actor Vinay Prasad. It is said to be a Kannada-Telugu bilingual, whose cinematography has been handled by Allikatti.  

Shubha Raksha, who has also appeared on the small screen, is currently shooting for a Tamil serial, Amman.
