Gunjan Saxena actor Chandan K Anand's short film Gannu Ali is out 

Actor Chandan K Anand has written and directed a short film titled Gannu Ali, based on Ganesh Utsav. Chandan was recently seen in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. He has also appeared in shows like Rangaaz, Jhansi Ki Rani and The Adventures of Hatim.

Gannu Ali is the story of an innocent boy who is eager to bring a Ganesh idol at his home and celebrate visarjan. His father, however, avoids the topic.

“Gannu goes through many ups and downs to celebrate Ganpati. The movie will present how Gannu tries to fulfill his want. Later on how he manages to do it is conveyed through the story. It will leave you with a smile,” Chandan said.

Gannu Ali was released by Nakash Originals on occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
