Makers of Bobby Deol-starrer Aashram issue disclaimer 

Bobby Deol essays the lead in the upcoming web-series Aashram. Directed by Prakash Jha, the 10-episode series is set to premiere on MX Player on August 28. 

Recently, the makers of Aashram released a disclaimer video suggesting that the show does not intend to hurt the sentiment of religious devotees. The makers state that they respect all religious gurus and their establishments. However, in our society, people’s faith is often exploited, which is what the show attempts to portray.  
 

The trailer for Aashram will drop soon. The political satire also stars Chandan Roy Sanyal, Anupriya Goenka, Darshan Kumaar and Sachin Shroff. The film went on floors in October last year and was primarily shot in Ayodhya and Lucknow.

Bobby Deol was last seen in Housefull 4. His upcoming film, Class of ‘83, is releasing on Netflix on August 21.
