Director Nagashekar has made a unique choice by bringing on board Bhavana to play the female lead in Srikrishna@gmail.com. She will be paired opposite Krishna of Love Mocktail fame. The romantic entertainer, produced by Sandesh Nagaraj, is yet another fresh combination as the two actors and director are collaborating for the first time.

Nagshekar in his previous interview with Cinema Express had mentioned that he has come up with a unique storyline, quite different from his previous films, and a tailormade role for Krishna. The heroine in the film has a distinctive role to play and Bhavana has now bagged it.

Srikrishna@gmail.com will be Bhavana's next after Bhajarangi 2, in which she is paired opposite Shivarajkumar. Krishna, who was last seen in his own directoria, Love Mocktail, is simultaneously preparing for a sequel, as he gets ready to take up his next acting assignment.

With the lead cast set, the director now plans to go on floors with Srikrishna@gmail.com on September 1, depending on the pandemic situation. Nagashekar, who is also making his debut in Telugu, with the remake of Love Mocktail, starring Satyadev and Tamannaah, will be juggling the shoot of the two projects.

Srikrishna@gmail.com will also star Dattanna in a pivotal role alongside Suhasini, Arun Sagar, and Rangayana Raghu. The director is bringing together an interesting technical crew for the film with dialogues written by director Preetham Gubbi and cinematography by Satya Hegde. Jassie Gift, who has composed music for Nagashekar's previous films such as Sanju Weds Geetha and Myna, will be doing the composing for lyrics written by Kaviraj. Stunt director Ravi Varma, dance choreographers Imran Sardhariya and Dhananjay, art director Arun Sagar, and costume designers Saniya Sardhariya and Archana will also be part of this project.
