AR Murugadoss to produce web-series starring Vani Bhojan 

Director AR Murugadoss whose Darbar released earlier this year is producing a web series starring Vani Bhojan in the lead. The series is directed by one of Murugadoss' erstwhile assistant director. Interestingly, this is not the first time he's producing a film by his assistant. Muragadoss' first production venture was his assistant M Saravanan's Engeyum Eppodhum which also marked the director's Tamil debut. Murugadoss later also co-produced his Thuppakki's associate director Rajkumar Periasamy debut venture, the Gautham Karthik starrer Rangoon. Vani Bhojan's latest release, Oh My Kadavule, is also directed by Muragadoss' another erstwhile director Ashwath Marimuthu. 

The web-series, which will release in Hotstar, has already entered production. The series, which went on floors at the end of last year had to stop shooting because of the COVID-19 lockdown. An official confirmation is expected after the lockdown is revoked with the cast and crew details.
