Rinku Rajguru, who played the female lead in Nagraj Manjule’s Sairat, is making her Hindi digital debut in the web series Hundred. The Hotstar Special series is in the action-comedy space and also stars Lara Dutta. Rinku’s character in the show is named Netra Patil.

“It is a pleasure to be a part of this digital world, especially a platform like Hotstar that has such wide reach. What drew me towards the character of Netra is that people will see a new side in each episode," Rinku said in a statement.

Hundred is helmed by actor-turned-filmmaker Taher Shabbir Mithaiwala under his banner RAT Films. Rajeev Siddhartha (Marzi, Four More Shots Please!) and Parmeet Sethi (Special Ops) are also a part of the show.

Rinku won a National Film Award - Special Mention for her performance as Archi in Sairat (2013). She later reprised her role in the 2016 Kannada remake of the film titled Manasu Mallige.

Rinku is also part of Nagraj Manule’s upcoming Hindi directorial debut Jhund, fronted by Amitabh Bachchan. The film reunites her with her Sairat co-star Akash Thosar.
