Salman Khan releases lockdown anthem Pyaar Karona

Salman Khan has released a lockdown anthem titled Pyaar Karona to spread the message of love during the COVID-19 crisis. Composed by Sajid-Wajid, the song is co-written, sung and performed by Salman using minimal resources via electronic communication. The actor is presently observing self-isolation with his family members at his Panvel farmhouse outside Mumbai. 

Pyaar Karona urges people to ‘take care’ and ‘practice hygiene’. It also delivers the message that the virus doesn’t discriminate on the basis of caste, creed, religion or financial status and can affect anybody.

Besides ‘Saare Jahan Se Achcha’ in the chorus, Salman raps about practising self-quarantine and saluting doctors and police officials fighting the crisis. 

The song marks Salman’s debut release on YouTube. The actor recently launched his YouTube channel - Being Salman Khan - and will be sharing glimpses of his personal life with his fans.

This is also Salman’s first independent music release. The actor’s singing credits include Main Hoon Hero Tera from Hero (2015), Jumme Ki Raat from Kick (2014), and others.
