Ajith donates Rs 1.25 crore for coronavirus relief

He donated Rs 50 lakh each to the PM-CARES fund and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Relief Fund, and Rs 25 lakh to FEFSI (Film Employees Federation of South India)

Ajith Kumar has donated Rs 50 lakh each to the PM-CARES fund and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Relief Fund, and Rs 25 lakh to FEFSI (Film Employees Federation of South India) for coronavirus relief. Several celebrities and people from across sections have extended a helping hand following the coronavirus outbreak which has brought several parts of the world to a standstill. 

Earlier, Sivakarthikeyan donated Rs 25 lakh to the CM's relief fund. Many stars from the film industry have also generously donated to FEFSI following its call for donations to help daily wage workers, who have lost their livelihoods in the current crisis. 

This noble gesture by Ajith has won him a lot of appreciation on social media. Ajith will be next seen on screen playing as a cop in director H Vinoth's Valimai, produced by Boney Kapoor.
