Cheran's film with Vijay Sethupathi to be about siblings
Cheran's film with Vijay Sethupathi was supposed to go on floors in Januray but has been delayed for reasons unknown
We had previously reported that director Cheran will be teaming up with Vijay Sethupathi for a drama. It's now known that the film will be about sibling bonding.
Cheran's earlier film Thavamai Thavamirundhu, which speaks about the relationship between a father and his sons, was telecast recently and was much spoken about on social media as well. Retweeting one such post, Cheran said, "The film with Vijay Sethupathi also has a similar screenplay as Thavamai Thavamirundhu. For some reasons, it's getting delayed. It'll be a film that will be long celebrated by brothers and sisters."
When Cheran was a participant on Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3, it was speculated that the film would go on floors in January this year. However, the project has not yet taken off.
While Cheran was recently seen playing the lead in Rajavukku Check, Vijay Sethupathi has a long list of films such as Master, Laabam, Tuglak Darbar, Ka Pe Ranasingham, and Kadaisi Vivasayi in the offing.
