Sanjay Dutt begins shooting for Yash KGF 2

KGF 2 director Prashanth Neel announced today that Sanjay Dutt has begun shooting for the much-awaited film.

Sanjay Dutt will reportedly be seen as Adheera, the brother of Suryavardhan, who built the gold mine in the Mysore region. The film stars Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles.

Welcoming the Bollywood star to the sets, Prashanth tweeted a picture that shows Sanjay sporting a bald look a la Kancha Cheena from Agneepath.

The shooting of KGF 2 is currently underway in Hyderabad. The team has constructed huge sets replicating the gold mines under the supervision of art director Shivashankar.

“Sanjay Dutt’s part in the film will be shot entirely in Hyderabad. He is currently here for a 10-day schedule and the team is filming crucial portions featuring him and Yash. Navin Shetty, who earlier worked on Hindi films like Singham, Singham Returns, Golmaal 3, and Simmba, is styling Sanjay Dutt’s look in the film,” informs a source from the production unit.

Initially, KGF 2 was slated for release in December in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. However, the delay in the production has forced the makers to push the film further to Summer 2020.
