Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan full cast out, Jitendra Kumar plays Ayushmann Khurrana’s lover

Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta, Maanvi Gagroo and Manu Rishi Chadha are also part of the cast

The makers of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan have revealed the full cast of the film. A newly released animated promo introduces us to Allahabad’s ‘Tripathi family’.

TVF-fame Jitendra Kumar plays Aman Tripathi, Ayushmann Khurrana’s love interest in the film. Aman’s parents are played by Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta, while Pankhuri Awasthi plays his sister Kusum. Ayushmann’s character in the film is called Kartik Singh. Other cast members include Manu Rishi Chadha, Sunita Rajwar, Maanvi Gagroo, and Neeraj Singh. 

Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan is a gay love story set in small-town India. The film is a spin-off of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017), starring Ayushmann as a man with performance anxiety. 

Ayushmann had worked with Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta in Badhaai Ho (2018). The film was recently awarded the National Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.

Jitendra Kumar is known for the shows TVF Pitchers and Kota Factory. He made his Bollywood debut in the 2019 film Gone Kesh

Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan is produced by Aanand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar. The comedy-drama is set to be released on March 13, 2020.
