Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy satellite rights sold at record price of Rs 125 crore

Directed by Surender Reddy, the film starring Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nayanthara, will hit the screens on October 2

According to sources, the satellite rights of the much-awaited Chiranjeevi-starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has been acquired by Zee Network for a whopping Rs 125 crore, making it the biggest amount spent on a film's rights in South Indian film history.

Directed by Surender Reddy, the film also starring Amitabh Bachchan and Nayanthara as the other leads, will hit the screens on October 2 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam. Chiranjeevi, last seen in Khaidi No.150, plays freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy in this upcoming historical war drama.

Produced by Ram Charan under Konidela Productions banner, Sye Raa’s much-awaited pre-release event will be held at LB Stadium in Hyderabad on September 22. Actor Pawan Kalyan, directors SS Rajamouli, Koratala Siva, and VV Vinayak, are among those who will be attending the event that is expected to witness a turn out of one lakh Chiranjeevi fans from across the country.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, with music by Amit Trivedi, also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Kichcha Sudeep, Tamannah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty in pivotal roles.
