Nagendra Prasad the lyricist, music composer, dialogue writer and director, is back to helming films and his new project has been titled Pantha. The film will feature Vasishta N Simha and Rachita Ram as the lead pair, and it marks their first collaboration.

Pantha, which translates to 'bet', is said to be a subject about mind games. Also starring Prakash Belawadi, the film is set to go on the floor in the first week of November.

The entertainer is being made under Nagendra’s home banner, Utsav Movies. Nagendra is also taking the responsibility of music composition while cinematography will be handled by Samrat.

Vasishta, who is famous for his supporting roles will be seen playing the lead in films like Nagathihalli Chandrashekar's India vs England, Kaalachakra, Talwar Pete, and Maryadastha. Meanwhile, Rachita Ram, who is looking forward to the release of P Vasi's Ayushman Bhava,co- starring Shivarajkumar, is currently shooting for Prem’s upcoming directorial, Ek Love Ya, alongside Raana. The actor will also be seen in Ramesh Aravind's 100.
