Suriya's next is with director Hari, Karthi confirms during Kaithi pre-release event

Suriya is riding on the success of Kaappaan, which, despite mixed reviews, has turned out to be a box-office hit. Now, it has been revealed that the actor's next film will be with his Singam-director, Hari. 

Earlier, it was said that Suriya would team up with director Siva after wrapping up Soorarai Pottru. However, this Siva-Suriya project is getting postponed to next year as the filmmaking is directing Rajinikanth first in Thalaivar 168.

Meanwhile, reports indicated that Hari and Vetri Maaran had narrated scripts to Suriya, and talks were on with the two directors for the actor's next. Under these circumstances, Karthi has now confirmed at the pre-release event of the Telugu version of his Diwali release, Kaithi, that Suriya is getting ready for his next movie, to be directed by Hari.

This film is rumoured to be produced by Sun Pictures.

It remains to be seen whether Suriya moves on to Vetri Maaran's film or Siva's project, after this Hari-directorial.
