Vijay-Atlee's Bigil goes the Mersal way

Even as the recently-released trailer of Bigil continues to trend on social media, fans were waiting for updates about the censor certification and runtime of Vijay's third project with Atlee.  

It has now come to light that just like the actor-director's previous collaboration, Mersal, Bigil too has been certified U/A. The film will have a runtime of 179 minutes. This will be the longest film so far from the blockbuster combo. 

Bigil, a sports drama, also starring Nayanthara, Kathir, Yogi Babu, and Indhuja, is expected to hit the screens this Diwali. With music by AR Rahman, and cinematography by GK Vishnu, Bigil is bankrolled by AGS Productions.
