Vimal’s next gets a female lead

Vimal, who was last seen in Kalavani 2, is currently working on his upcoming film, Chozha Naattan. The latest on this project is that Telugu actor Karronya Katrynn has been roped in to play the female lead.

Karronya has earlier worked in films such as Utthara and Itlu Mee Srimathi. Chozha Naattan will mark the actor’s Tamil debut.

Directed by debutant filmmaker Ranjith Kanna, this film will be Vimal’s first action-thriller. Apart from the lead actor, Chozha Naattan will also feature Thennavan, Ramar, Thangadurai, and Natchathra.

Bankrolled by Harish Film Productions, the film has cinematography by Prakash of Maragatha Kaadu fame.
