Viswasam vs Bigil: Box office battle turns ugly on social media
KJR Studios, which distributed Viswasam, and producer Dhananjayan had a showdown on Twitter about the earnings of Viswasam

Fans of Vijay and Ajith fighting on Twitter is pretty much an everyday event these days. However, on Wednesday producer Dhananjayan and KJR Studios also got involved in one such battle.
While answering a question on Twitter about whether or not Viswasam collected Rs 125 crore in eight days, Dhananjayan said that the figure is 'abolsutely exaggerated'. This didn't go down well with Ajith fans and KJR Studios, who took a dig at Dhananjayan.
KJR Studios shared an old video of Dhananjayan in which he says, "One cannot comment on whether or not the film (Viswasam) earned Rs 128 crores but has to go by the words of the distributor."
Dhananjayan later asked KJR Studios to come with the real numbers of Viswasam box office collections and not to prolong the discussion.
Here's how the conversation went:
Absolutely no. Exaggerated.

All those who are tagging & fighting on this, pl. ask Distributor @kjr_studios to post the exact share he had shown for TN to Producer. I said #Bigil crossed 80 crore share with details. If he can confirm his film earned more than that, I will celebrate it with @SathyaJyothi_ https://t.co/haEegMMdW1

Very general reply than being specific with Distributor share numbers over which this debate is on. If you cannot counter with actual number, then let's not argue further https://t.co/Y7dKvTVcjQ

KJR Studios is currently producing Sivkarthikeyan's Hero. On the other hand, Dhananjayan is busy with his debut directorial venture, which is touted to be a thriller.
