Aadhi denies collaboration with Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Productions

The actor has clarified that he was approached for a project with Stone Bench Productions, but was unable to take it up due to scheduling conflicts

Recently, reports were rife that Aadhi, who was last seen in U-Turn, has signed a project, produced by Karthik Subbaraj under his Stone Bench Productions banner and to be directed by a debutant. As Keerthy Suresh was also simultaneously in talks with Stone Bench Productions for a film, it was rumoured that Aadhi might play the male lead in that project.

Reacting to these reports, Aadhi has now confirmed that he is not doing a project for Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Productions banner. "I am currently shooting for a Telugu film with Keerthy Suresh. This romantic comedy is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. I guess certain publications have confused this film with Keerthy's film under Karthik Subbaraj's production. That said, it's true that I was approached for a film by Stone Bench. But Keerthy was never involved in that project. Unfortunately, I couldn't take up that film because of scheduling issues," the actor clarifies.

Aadhi is currently prepping for an upcoming sports drama, to be directed by debutant Prithvi Aditya. There are reports that he will be shedding close to 15 kilograms, to get into shape for his athlete's role in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual. The Maragadha Nanayam actor also has a sci-fi comedy, titled Partner and co-starring Hansika Motwani, as well as the above-mentioned Nagesh Kukunoor film with Keerthy Suresh in the pipeline.
