Venkatesh not part of Vikram Vedha Telugu remake

The actor is currently shooting for Venky Mama, and an announcement about his new projects will follow soon

Quashing reports of Venkatesh being part of the Telugu remake of Vikram Vedha, producer Suresh Babu Daggubati has also denied bankrolling the project, which was rumoured to star Nara Rohit. “Venkatesh is currently shooting for Venky Mama, and an announcement about his new projects will follow soon. Until then, please don't speculate anything,” said Suresh Babu.

Earlier this year, it was rumoured that Vikram Vedha will be remade in Telugu with actors Balakrishna and Dr Rajasekhar reprising the roles of Vijay Sethupathi and Madhavan, respectively. A few months ago, Rana Daggubati’s name was also attached to the project, but that turned out to be a rumour. With reports of Venkatesh showing interest in the remake surfacing, Suresh Babu has now put to rest such rumours.

Meanwhile, Vikram Vedha, directed in Tamil by the husband-wife duo Pushkar-Gayatri, is getting a Hindi remake, which will be produced by the original producers, Y Not Studios, in association with Reliance Pictures and Neeraj Pandey.
