Steel Paatre Saaman, a satire on modern-day life 

Even as Aravind Kaushik is gearing up for the release of his directorial, Shardoola, he has completed half of his next, Steel Paatre Saaman, a satire on modern-day life.

Aravind, says the film is about happy-go-lucky guys, who live a comfortable life within their space. “The film is a satirical take on life in this generation. It is about youngsters who are confused about choices, thanks to peer pressure. Our focus is on how society doesn’t allow them to be independent.”

Produced by Sattvah Media and CVR Cinemas, the film stars new faces Manojavvam Aatreya, Shravan Aithal, Jayanth P Bellur, and Sanjana Burli in the lead roles. The makers are planning to release the film’s first look on Ugadi.

Steel Paatre Saaman has music by Arjun Ramu, who has also worked with Aravind in Sahrdoola, cinematography by Manohar Yaplar, and editing by Shivraj Mehu. 

About the actors of the film, who are well-known faces on YouTube, Aravind says, “Manojavvam is an award-winning child artiste. The three actors are very good friends and they share amazing chemistry.”
