Ganesh’s Where is My Kannadaka postponed

Ganesh is solely focusing on his upcoming film, Geetha, made under his home banner, Golden Movies, in association with Syed Salaam. We hear that the actor’s other project — Where is my Kannadaka — has been postponed. The film was to be helmed by newcomers Raaj and Damini, and Bollywood actors Patralekha and Arbaaz Khan, were supposed to make their Kannada debut.

The film was officially launched a while ago in Bangalore and a major schedule was planned to begin in April, in London. However, it looks like the project is not taking off any time soon. About the status of the film, Ganesh says, “The shoot was planned to take place in the United Kingdom, where the cricket World Cup is going on now. Because of this reason, we couldn’t proceed with the shoot. We also had problems with locations during the schedule. Meanwhile, the team has taken some time to rewrite the script. We will start the project when all these things come together, but I can’t when as of now.”

Ganesh, who has just completed dubbing for Geetha, revealed that the film is in the post-production stage. The film’s teaser will be released on July 2, which happens to be the actor’s birthday. "The teaser will be one of its kind, and I will be seen in a never-seen-before character," he says. The team then plans to come up with the film’s trailer in the next 15 days and is planning to launch the audio in August.

New film with Rugged producer Arun Kumar

The actor, who was last seen in 99, has Gimmick, directed by Naganna, ready for release. He has given the green signal to producer Arun Kumar A, who has previously been associated with Tiger Prabhakar’s Rugged. “The story and screenplay for this project are getting ready, and the production house will make an official announcement after everything is in place,” he says.
