Salman Khan - Alia Bhatt's Inshallah to be released on Eid, 2020

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the romantic drama will go floors later this year

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Inshallah, starring Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt, will be released on Eid, 2020, the makers announced today. The film, touted to be a love story, will be shot in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and the US. Confirming the release date, Prerna Singh, CEO of Bhansali Productions said, "Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt come together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah. We at Bhansali Productions are happy to confirm that the film hits theatres on the Eid of 2020."

Salman Khan plays a businessman in Inshallah, while Alia portrays an aspiring actor. Salman is reuniting with Bhansali after a gap of 20 years. They had previously collaborated on Khamoshi: The Musical and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The actor had also made a cameo appearance in Bhansali’s Saawariya (2007).

Alia Bhatt was last seen in Kalank and Gully Boy. Her upcoming releases are Brahmastra, RRR, Takht and Sadak 2
