Jyotika's first release for 2019, Raatchasi, might hit screens on June 28, according to reports. If it happens, the film will clash with Vimal's Kalavani 2 and Yogi Babu's Dharmaprabhu.

Raatchasi sees Jyotika play Geetha Rani, a government school teacher who questions the establishment. The trailer and the first look of the film were unveiled recently to a positive response. The film is helmed by debutant Gauthamraj and produced by SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures. Ratchasi has music by Sean Roldan and cinematography by Monster-fame Gokul Benoy.

Apart from Raatchasi, Jyotika also has the Jeethu Joseph film, where she shares screenspace with Karthi for the first time. She will next be seen along with Revathy in the Kalyan directorial, Jackpot.
