Rana Daggubati to co-produce VJS's Muttiah Muralitharan biopic

We had previously reported that Vijay Sethupathi is set to star in the biopic of Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan. It's now known that actor Rana Daggubati will co-produce the film along with DAR Motion Pictures under his banner, Suresh Productions.

“Suresh Productions is going to be associated with Dar films in telling the story of a legend through legendary actor – Vijay Sethupathi as Muttiah Muralitharan… Coming soon,” Rana said in a statement.

The untitled film, which will go on floors from December this year, will be directed by MS Sripathi (who had previously directed a film titled Kanimozhi) and will be made in Tamil and released in several languages across the world.
