Ram Charan’s cameo in Chiru 152?

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 152nd film will be launched on August 22, coinciding with his 64th birthday, in Hyderabad.

Directed by Koratala Siva, the shooting of the film will commence either by the end of September or the first week of October. The latest buzz is that Ram Charan, who is producing this untitled social drama in association with Niranjan Reddy, will play a crucial cameo.

Although the actor has not given his nod yet, it is learnt that he is keen to do it. “It’s a special role and one that will appeal to audiences across all sections. Charan will likely take a call once the film goes on floors,” informs a source.

For the uninitiated, the father-son duo has earlier shared screen space in films like Magadheera, Bruce Lee, and Khaidi No. 150.

Nayanthara, who is paired opposite Chiru in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, has been approached for the female lead role in the upcoming film, which has music by Devi Sri Prasad. The yet-to-be-titled film will show Chiru in two distinct avatars, as Govind and Acharya.
