Nishvika Naidu to star in Upendra’s next?

The Shashank-Upendra film is said to be social drama; With Nishvika approached for the film, the rest of the film's crew along with the project's title is expected to be announced in August

Padde Huli heroine Nishvika Naidu has been approached to play the female lead in Upendra's next directed and produced by Shashank. 

The yet-to-be-titled film will mark her first project with a top actor in Kannada. The model-turned-actor made her debut with Chiranjeevi Sarja’s film Amma I Love You and it was followed by Vaasu Naan Pakka Commercial. She is now shooting for Gentleman featuring Prajwal Devaraj and Ramarjuna, and a film alongside Anish Tejeshwar.

The Shashank-Upendra film is said to be social drama and an official announcement about the project along with its title, cast and crew is expected in August. The film will most likely go on floors in September. 

Upendra, who is basking in the success of R Chandru’s I Love You, is currently shooting for debutant director Maurya’s Buddhivanta 2, produced by T R Chandrashekar.
