To mark actor Vishnu Vishal's birthday tomorrow, the details of the actor's new project were revealed today. Titled, FIR (Faizal Ibrahim Raiz), and co-starring Manjima Mohan, the film is written and directed by Manu Anand and produced by Anand Joy, under the banner Sujataa productions.

The first look poster and motion poster of the film were launched by director Guatham Menon and composer Anirudh Ravichander, respectively, via their Twitter handles.

The first look poster features a mask-clad Vishnu Vishal surrounded by newspaper clippings about international terrorist organisations like ISIS and Al-Qaeda.

"It is a one of a kind film based on terrorism, and just like Ratsasan, FIR won't have commercial compromises like unnecessary songs. The script has strong emotional content based on what we are going through every day as a society and hence the general audience will also be able to relate to the subject easily," says Vishnu Vishal.

FIR has cinematography by Kirumi-fame Arul Vincent, music by Ashwanth and editing by Prasanna GK.

Meanwhile, Vishnu Vishal recently announced that he will be bankrolling a project with Jiivi-director VJ Gopinath and writer Babu Tamizh. Apart from this, he also has acting assignments in films like Jagajaala Killadi, Indru Netru Naalai 2 and Kaadan
