S Thaman roped in for Puneeth Rajkumar-Santhosh Ananddram's Yuvarathnaa

Music director S Thaman is back in Kannada having been roped in for the Puneeth Rajkumar-starrer Yuvarathnaa, directed by Santhosh Ananddram. The director and production house announced the news on social media.

The composer has previously scored music for Puneeth Rajkumar's Chakravyuha. According to Karthik Gowda, of Hombale Films and KRG Studios, both the music composer and director are busy at the recording studio, and have already completed three songs. "The album will consist of five to six songs and will come with variety," he says.

Meanwhile, the film's next schedule is set to start from July 26, when Prakash Raj will be joining the sets. The latter is said to play a role of a Principal in the film that features Puneeth Rajkumar as a college student. With the tagline, 'Power of Youth', Yuvarathnaa marks the debut of Sayyeshaa in Kannada. The film, featuring Dhananjay in an antagonist role, will also be Radikaa Sarathkumar's comeback in the industry.
