Sushant Singh Rajput-Jacqueline Fernandez's Drive gets June 28 release date
The action-heist film is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Dharma Productions
Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez’s upcoming action heist film, Drive, will be released on June 28. The film is directed by Dostana-fame Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Dharma Productions.
Drive entered production in 2017 and was earlier expected to hit the screens on September 7, 2018.
Besides Sushant and Jacqueline, who are sharing screen-space for the first time, the film also stars Sapna Pabbi, Boman Irani and Pankaj Tripathi and Vikramjeet Virk in key roles. Drive was rumoured to be remake of the 2011 Ryan Gosling-starrer of the same name, although no confirmation was made by the producers regarding the same. Sushant had earlier described the film as a heist movie with multiple twists and turns. Drive is expected to feature some intense car chase scenes touted to be a first for Indian cinema.
Sushant's other upcoming releases include Sonchiriya and Kizie Aur Manny. Jacqueline Fernandez, on the other hand, will be seen opposite Kartik Aaryan in the upcoming Hindi remake of the Kannada hit, Kirik Party.
