Adanga Maru's success proves that presentation matters more than the story: Jayam Ravi
With music by Sam CS, the film also stars Raashi Khanna, Azhagam Perumal, Sampath and Mime Gopi in important roles

Jayam Ravi's recent revenge thriller Adanga Maru has managed to impress both the audience and the critics. The crew met the media on Wednesday at the film's success meet.
Speaking at the event, Jayam Ravi said, "Adanga Maru is the kind of film that doesn't work just on the strength of its story; it's the emotions in the script that has made it a success. We already have epics like Mahabharatham and Ramayanam, and no stories can surpass those. The only way to draw the audience to the theatre is through the presentation. The success of Adanga Maru has proved this once again."
Director Karthik Thangavel began his speech by thanking the press. "I had more faith in the press than the audience, and you have lauded the film for its social message. I know that the film has a few logical loopholes and mistakes. But, I'm the kind of person who views cinema as a larger-than-life medium, and I believe in magic more than logic. I initially planned Adanga Maru to be a much more hard-hitting and violent film, but I had to dilute it to suit the female audience. And it was a pleasant surprise to find that they were the ones who enjoyed the film the most. I guarantee that my next film with Jayam Ravi under Home Media Maker's production will be a hard-hitting entertainer."
With music by Sam CS, Adanga Maru also stars Raashi Khanna, Azhagam Perumal, Sampath and Mime Gopi in important roles.
