Actor Nani's first look from his upcoming period sports drama, Jersey was unveiled on Monday. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film is an emotional tale of a young man, who is settled in life with his wife and kid but aspires to represent the Indian cricket team.
Hinting that he plays a veteran cricketer in the film, the actor has shared the picture and captioned it, "VINTAGE SPARKLES At 36 there is nothing left for him to prove in cricket. The dreams and heartburns have been left behind.. 1996-97 Ranji trophy season was just a display of his love for batting (sic)."
Also starring Shraddha Srinath, Satyaraj, Ronit Kamra and Brahmaji in pivotal roles, the film which is in production has music by Anirudh Ravichander. Jersey is expected to release in April.
