Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film stars Venkatesh and Varun Tej in lead roles

Published: 01st January 2019

The audio release of F2: Fun and Frustration, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, was an eventful one with actor Venkatesh and Varun Tej stealing the show. Held at RK Beach, Visakhapatnam, the event saw producers Dil Raju, Sirish, Laxman and the film unit attending it. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, this family entertainer depicts the unending travails of two married men with contrasting personalities blaming their wives for their ordeals.

Speaking at the event, Venkatesh shared his nostalgic memories of the city with the crowd. "Visakhapatnam has been close to my heart ever since Kaliyuga Pandavulu days. My films Swarna Kamalam, Sundarakanda, Malliswari and Guru among others were shot here. F2 has a wonderful script. Anil (Ravipudi) watched my previous films and conceived my character differently. I had a great time shooting for this film," said Venkatesh.

He joked that he and Varun Tej were frustrated as their wives in the film, played by Tamannaah Bhatia and Mehreen Pirzada couldn't make it to the event. The film is being released on January 12 and Venky conveyed his wishes to Nandamuri Balakrishna, Ram Charan and Rajinikanth's films that are also releasing during Sankranthi. "I wish success to Balayya babu, Charan and Rajinikanth sir's films as well. All the films should do well and the Telugu industry has to flourish," he added
