Dil Raju to release Mammootty-starrer Yatra

Renowned producer Dil Raju has acquired the Nizam and Uttarandhra theatrical rights of the Mammootty-starring trilingual Yatra, a biographical drama that revolves around the padayatra of late Andra Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

"The film chronicles the events that happened during the padayatra of Dr YSR, which was a defining moment in his career. The promos have increased the expectations for the film. It's exciting to see Mammootty reprising YSR's role, and I believe, Yatra is going to register good openings across the Telugu States," said Dil Raju.

Directed by Mahi V Raghav, Yatra, also starring Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Anasuya and Ashrita Vemuganti in crucial roles, releases this Friday in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
