Arya-starrer Teddy's intriguing first-look poster out
Directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan, Teddy has Arya and Sayyeshaa in lead roles

Director Shakti Soundar Rajan, who is fond of introducing new genres to Tamil cinema, is coming up with another such attempt through Teddy, which stars Arya in the lead role.
The first-look poster of the film was released today. The vibrant poster features Arya with a gun, while a computer-generated teddy bear is seen standing behind him petrified.
Talking about the film Shakti Soundar Rajan says, “The teddy bear is the second most important character in the movie. It has been completely created using CGI, and we have made it perform and fight. I think this itself makes the film a new attempt.”

Teddy, which also stars Sayyeshaa, Karunakaran, Magizh Thirumeni and Sakshi Agarwal, has been shot extensively in Azerbaijan. “It is an ancient country, which was once the Soviet Republic. People there are aware of old Hindi films. I was shocked when they shared their knowledge about old Indian cinema. We shot for about 15 days there,” adds Shakti.
D Imman, who composed the music for Shakti’s last film Tik Tik Tik, is teaming up with the director for Teddy as well.
