Rajkummar Rao’s upcoming film Turram Khan will release on January 31, 2020. The announcement was made on occasion of the actor’s 35th birthday by director Hansal Mehta. Rajkummar and Hansal have previously worked together on Shahid, City Lights, Aligarh and Omerta. Hansal also produced the 2017 miniseries Bose: Dead/Alive starring Rajkummar.

A social comedy set in Uttar Pradesh, Turram Khan also stars Nushrat Bharucha and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub. The cast was spotted shooting a kabaddi scene in Mumbai Film City in June this year. The film is co-produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg.

Rajkummar Rao’s last release was Judgementall Hai Kya, co-starring Kangana Ranaut. The actor is presently working on the horror-comedy RoohiAfza alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma. He has finished shooting for Mikhil Musale’s Made In China.

Nushrat, on the other hand, plays the female lead opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in Dream Girl. She will also be seen Marjaavan and Hurdang.
