Gopi Sundar to compose music for Vishnu Priya

The film, made under the banner of K Manju Cinemas, is in the final pre-production stages, and the team plans to start shooting from September 8

Shreyas Manju’s second film is creating a lot of buzz, especially with its cast and crew. Titled Vishnu Priya, the VK Prakash film is set to mark Malayalam heroine Priya Prakash Varrier's Kannada debut. 

The latest talk is that Gopi Sundar, one of the in-demand music directors in South Indian film industry, has been brought on board for the project. The composer of popular films like Geetha Govindam, Majili, Charlie, will make his Kannada debut with Vishnu Priya.
  
Made under the banner of K Manju Cinemas, the film is in the final pre-production stages, and the team plans to start shooting from September 8. The production house is planning to release Vishnu Priya in Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu. The makers are confident that the romantic family entertainer, which is said to have the flavour of the 90s, will be told well in all languages.

The title, Vishnu Priya, bears reference to the legendary actor Vishnuvardhan. The subject is based on a real-life incident, and the plot has been penned by writer Sindhu Sri from Dharward. With cinematographer Vinod Bharathi on board, director Prakash plans to shoot the film in Chikkamagaluru, Madikeri, Mysuru, and Bengaluru.
