While Naresh and Nadhiya play Keerthy's parents, Bhanushree and Kamal essay her siblings, and Rajendra Prasad will be seen as her grandfather. "The film is an emotional family drama about a young girl's dream. The shooting is almost through, save for some patchwork and talkie portions. We are planning to release Miss India either in October or November," says Narendra Nath.
In the interim, Keerthy is also working for director Nagesh Kukunoor's Telugu sports drama, tentatively titled Sakhi, and a Hindi film called Maidaan, opposite Ajay Devgn.
