Actor Sai Pallavi, who rose to fame in Telugu with films like Fidaa, MCA and Padi Padi Leche Manasu, is all set to entice the audience with a psychological thriller Anukoni Athidhi. Directed by Vivek, the film is the dubbed version of the Malayalam hit Athiran and also has Fahadh Faasil, Prakash Raj and Atul Kulkarni in pivotal roles. The Malayalam version has received rave reviews, especially for the performances of the lead cast.

"The film is based on real incidents that happened in 1970 in Kerala. I feel the story has universal appeal and hence we wanted to cater to a wide audience. Plus Sai Pallavi has a huge following in Telugu owing to her spirited performances in Fidaa and Padi Padi. The post-production is underway and we will announce the release date soon," says producer Annamreddy Krishna Kumar.

Ghibran, who has scored the background music for the Prabhas-starrer Saaho, has composed the music for this film set in the backdrop of a psychiatric hospital in Ooty.
